Baltimore and Ohio 2-8-0 Steam Locomotive Class E-19
The engine shown in the drawings is a Consolidation 2-8-0 type steam locomotive with Vanderbilt boiler built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. The B&O's Class E-19 also included several 2-8-0s with Wootten wide-firebox boilers in a camelback arrangement. The locomotive shown in the plan below was a four-cylinder compound, using a Vauclain system, with 54 inch drivers.
