Chesapeake and Ohio 0-6-0 Steam Locomotive 1909
Even after reviewing Huddleston's "C&O Power" book, I'm not certain what class this C&O 0-6-0 actually is. Although the drawing identifies the locomotive as being built by the American Locomotive Company (often shorted as "Alco"), it was likely built by the Richmond Locomotive Works in Richmond, Virginia or Schenectady Locomotive Works in Schenectady, New York, which were both absorbed by Alco by merger in 1901. The locomotive _might_ be a Class C-2.
