The Coal Unloading Terminal at Sewalls Point
The May 25, 1912 edition of Coal Age included an article on the coal unloading terminal of the Virginian Railway at Sewalls Point, which was located 7 miles down the Elizabeth River from Norfolk, Virginia. The Virginian's Sewalls Point facility was then one of the largest coaling ports in North America. The article featured two photographs of the operation.
