File:Virginian Ry 0-8-0 Class SA Steam Locomotive.jpg
Photo of a Virginian Railway Class SA 0-8-0 type steam locomotive from the Sept. 1909 edition of American Engineer and Railroad Journal. The original group of three Class SA locomotives were used in switching service at the Virginian's yards at Sewall's Point (VA), Roanoke (VA), and Princeton (WV). When built they were the most powerful engines of their type on record.
Virginian Class SA switcher #4, the only surviving Virginian steam locomotive, is on display at Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke, VA.
