An article published in the June 20, 1913 edition of Railway Age Gazette provided details of the methods used in placing concrete lining in 18 mainline tunnels without interruption to rail traffic. Details of the work at the tunnel about 2 miles east of Princeton, WV illustrates the methods used on all the jobs.
