This article, from the March 13, 1908 edition of The Railway Gazette, contains several drawings of standard station designs used on the Virginian Railway. The article provides drawings of standard combination station designs and the combination freight and passenger station at Brookneal, Virginia. Other drawings include an elevation diagram of the standard water tank used on the Virginian and a plan of the Virginian Railway's freight yard at Roanoke, Virginia. The article also features a map showing the railroad connections and terminals of the Norfolk, Virginia area.
